Medicare can be a complicated topic. Worse yet, misinformation can lead to decisions that may result in penalties and a delay of benefits. To avoid mistakes, you are invited to learn about the basics of Medicare and what you need to consider as you approach Medicare eligibility. Welcome to Medicare is provided by the Nebraska SHIP & SMP, a member of the National SHIP & SMP network and a division of the Nebraska Department of Insurance, and will address questions like:
- What does Medicare cover and cost?
- When should I enroll in Medicare?
- What is the difference between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage?
