OMAHA, Neb. (Nov. 14, 2025) - For a sixth straight year, Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie brought together the insurance industry to Omaha for a record-breaking conference at the Holland Performing Arts Center in Omaha.
The 2025 conference welcomed a record breaking over 550 attendees representing 43 states, six countries, and numerous insurance regulators. The continued growth and reach across the insurance industry showcases Omaha's position as a hub for insurtech innovation.
Speakers and panelists discussed emerging trends in the insurance industry including the use of agentic AI in the industry, how insurance companies are making an impact with insurtech products, AI's place in serving the aging population, and how innovation in the industry impacts regulation.
The agenda featured panel discussions, showcased startups, and conversations among regulators and industry executives across the globe.
The conference opened with a networking reception at the Kiewit Luminarium that brought attendees together to collaborate and exchange ideas.
"Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie continues to grow and showcases how Nebraska is a hub for the insurance industry," said Eric Dunning, Director of the Nebraska Department of Insurance. "Each year, there's more collaboration and more commitment to building the future of the insurance industry."
Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie is an annual event co-hosted by the Nebraska Department of Insurance and the Nebraska Insurance Federation to strengthen understanding of the latest insurtech developments.
