Nebraska Department of Insurance announces date for Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie 2025

Lincoln, NE (Mar. 20, 2025) - After a record-breaking session in 2024, Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie will be back in Omaha on November 3 and 4. The venue for this year's conference will be in downtown Omaha at the Holland Performing Arts Center. 

National experts, regulators, and industry leaders will gather in Omaha for the one-of-a-kind conference, focusing on the rapidly changing insurance landscape and technology. Last year's conference had a record attendance of almost 500 attendees from 44 states and international visitors.


Speakers for Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie 2025 will cover a variety of topics, with tentative topics including generative AI in Insurance, trends in Insurtech and Innovation, venture capital in Insurtech, spotlight on insurance technologies, AI and automation, carrier innovation, regulatory modernization, big data and privacy, CEO spotlights, and the anticipated commissioners' panel.


"As we continue to see groundbreaking innovation in the insurance industry, Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie remains a vital platform for connecting industry leaders and regulators," Nebraska Department of Insurance Director Eric Dunning said. "It also provides a platform to gain a better understanding of the new ideas being introduced into the insurance marketplace."


Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie is an annual event co-hosted by the Nebraska Insurance Federation and the Nebraska Department of Insurance to foster a better understanding of the rapidly changing world of insurance. Nebraska is one of the leading insurance hubs in the United States, with over 150 domestic insurers in the state.
