LINCOLN, Neb. (Aug 26, 2025) – Experts with the Nebraska Department of Insurance (NDOI) will soon be crossing the state, providing information about insurance programs. Seventeen stops are planned during the month of September to help address complexities associated with choosing the right health insurance plan prior to enrollment.
Topics to be covered during these hour-long sessions include the basics of Medicare, defining the difference between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage, a recap of changes in Nebraska that impact people with Medicare, Affordable Care Act (ACA) information, fraud prevention, what to consider during open enrollment, and a Q&A session to address other questions about insurance in Nebraska.
