The Nebraska Department of Insurance will be hosting informational sessions on the Affordable Care Act across the state. “We want to continue our mission of informing people about the Affordable Care Act and present the public factual information about requirements they face with the law as well as discuss potential rate adjustments they may be facing as open enrollment starts in November,” said Department of Insurance Director Bruce Ramge.
The informational sessions will include a brief introduction to the Affordable Care Act and will be followed by general information on:
- Open Enrollment
- Premium Tax Credits
- The Individual Mandate
- Employer-Sponsored Insurance
- The Small Business Health Options Program
- 2015 Premiums
